Center Church of Star exists to glorify God by making disciples in Star and the surrounding area, teaching them to worship and follow Him by living all of life fixed on Jesus.

Our vision is shaped by our core values: gospel-centered preaching, intentional discipleship, and a strong commitment to community.

We Sing

We worship God together by singing scripture-informed songs about Jesus, his saving work, and exaltation as Lord.

Our services usually last about 90 minutes and typically follow a simple order of worship

We Pray

We worship God by approaching him together in prayer. We thank him for his blessing, ask for help in our lives, and advocate for the needs of others.

We Preach

We worship God by hearing His Word read and proclaimed, receiving it with faith, and applying it to our hearts. We listen carefully, considering how God addresses every part of our lives.

Kids are always welcome in our service! We also have Center Kids: a ministry for ages 18 months-6 years during the sermon.

We Fellowship

We worship by sharing life together, giving ourselves in friendship, meeting needs, rejoicing together, and joining Jesus’ work among our neighbors.

  • Star offers a unique opportunity to reach a rapidly growing community focusing on building deep, Christ-centered connections. Its expanding population includes families and individuals hungry for meaningful relationships and spiritual growth, aligning with our mission to create disciples Fixed on Jesus.

  • Center Church of Star is united in fellowship, mission, beliefs and governance with Sovereign Grace Churches. Sovereign Grace Churches are dedicated to the truth of God's Word, emphasizing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the foundation of our faith and community. We are churches united in what we believe and are shaped by the same biblical virtues of humility, joy, gratitude, encouragement, generosity, servanthood, and Godliness.

    We aim to create a welcoming environment where individuals and families can experience authentic worship, build meaningful relationships, and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Star’s rapid growth in population over the last decade is outpacing the number of gospel-centered churches being planted in the area. This unique moment offers us an opportunity to establish a Christ-centered community in Star, welcoming people into a church where discipleship is intentional and the Gospel is central.
